Rachel Davis-A unique, interactive group coaching... text-thin-16pt.jpg

Over the past four years, I’ve been living out an art dream beyond what I ever could have imagined. There have been fears and doubts along the way, fears that refuse to be silenced, even today. I know my journey has been far from unique. So how have I persisted to make the dream a reality?

I’ve learned how to let the art win, instead of the fear.

I’m Rachel Davis, a licensed psychologist and a creativity coach. For the past thirty years I’ve helped artists, novelists and musicians get out of their own way and realize their creative dreams.

But actually being an artist? That was for other people. Less uptight and perfectionistic people. Younger people. Surely the art ship had sailed.

The call to create refused to be silenced. Maybe, just maybe, I could lean on what I’d taught so many others, sidestep the doubts and speed bumps, dismantle the deeply entrenched tripwires and just CREATE.

HAH! I’m not immune from being human, from being afraid of failure, of not measuring up, of putting myself out there and falling flat on my face.

There was work to be done - more lessons to learn from the artist side of the couch - and those are what I’ll be offering you.

“Rachel brings a unique combination of skills to coaching from her years as a licensed psychologist and now as a recognised artist herself. Learning to manage your mind monkeys is perhaps the biggest gift you can give yourself as an artist and Rachel’s session within The Connected Artist Club is one I go back to time and time again. I can’t think of a better person to guide you through these explorations.”

Alice Sheridan, co-host Art Juice podcast, founder Connected Artists Club

What participants in Rachel’s coaching program for #the100dayproject are saying:

“Thank you! I really have an unwanted roommate in my head and I think I have a way now of asking her to move out. You are such a wonderful guide. What you have done here is so refreshing and captivating to follow.”
- Christine

I’ve looked forward to listening to your insightfulness every week. I’ve learned so very much about myself as an artist. Exploration is the foundation. F…ups are OK! Looking forward to seeing what’s next.”
